Advocacy Committee

Purpose Statement

The goal of this committee is to fulfill UNA-USA’s mission "to educate, inspire and mobilize Americans to support the principles and vital work of the United Nations," as well as "strengthening the United Nations system, promoting constructive United States leadership in that system and achieving the goals of the United Nations Charter".

The Advoacay Committee adds value to chapter members' relationship with UNA-SF by providing information for promoting participation in the e-action alert system and advocacy events, such as Day on Capitol Hill and In-District advocacy activities.
